Building Schools for the Future will be delivered by the Bradford Local Education Partnership (LEP), a new type of public-private company, which is owned by Bradford Council, Partnerships for Schools and Integrated Bradford. The Bradford LEP will plan and implement the Council's transformation programme over 10 years, using several phases of capital investment, which will be contracted on a project-by-project basis.
By creating modern school environments via well thought-out buildings equipped with the latest technology, teaching and learning will be transformed for both students and teachers. Students will be encouraged to stay at school longer, and to attain more. The wider community will benefit from their skills and qualifications, as well as the opportunities for adult learning that the new schools will offer.
Equipped with 21st century skills and a new sense of purpose, the whole district can work towards a brighter future.
